The SPA Canada shared a note written by Lune Lalune via Face Book that reads:
“Today MAPAQ is bringing out the new provincial regulations regarding the welfare of companion animals. On the manifestation that took place on December 10th 2010, we requested that MAPAQ takes action regarding puppy mills, chained dogs, fines and gas chambers. We will have 45 days to contest and request more action on certain topics. What we will ask for, will be studied and possibly accepted. We will have to do it in accordance with the norms, otherwise your request will be tossed in the garbage. We should all write. In large numbers we must act” (Translation Johanne S.)
