On February 22nd 2011, Terry posted about Ben needing a home because his former owner thought it was best for him to be shot than pay for his care. Many of us were concerned and shared Ben’s story in hope of finding him a home before February 27. Nat, myself and others got in touch with his rescuer; a sweet and kind girl named Amelie.
Now, Amélie writes back with the good news that she was able to rescue Ben and he is safe and sound. Amélie made it possible for Ben to be vaccinated, dewormed and treated for external parasites. Ben will be groomed…the condition of his fur is deplorable. Amélie tells us that the picture that you see can be misleading about Ben’s characteristics. Ben is more of a 90lbs dog than 70lbs…he is a bit on the chubby side. It appears Ben is a mix of Border Collie and Husky. He has an extraordinary personality and he needs a little bit of training. Even though he is a bit over weight he is a healthy pup. Ben is ready and waiting for a family to love him all his life.
Please, if you are willing to give Ben a Home, contact Amélie
