Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue invites you to their annual Take Me Home Tonight fundraiser. Hosted at Sala Rossa on Thursday, February 17th, 2011, the rescue teams up with artists to help support and raise awareness about animal rights in Quebec. The night will be a busy, fast-flowing arrangement of folk, blue grass, and rock acts including local trio, No Family (www.myspace.com/ofnofamily) and Eleven Eleven show veteran, the Bud Rice Band (www.myspace.com/budrice). Also playing will be Mr. Goldschneider and His Personal Flaws, which is the collaboration of members from the Youjsh (www.myspace.com/theyoujsh) and Charlotte Cornfield(http://charlottecornfield.com). In addition the line up will include a handful of members from Montreal ensemble the Unsettlers (www.theunsettlers.ca) such as Brie Neilson(www.myspace.com/brieneilsonmusic) and Baltimore Washington Brandes (www.myspace.com/bwbrandesmusic).
Eleven Eleven Animal Rescue (www.elevenelevenanimalrescue.org) is a not for profit, local organization that works through a tight network of foster homes and functions on adoption days, fundraisers, benefit shows, and merchandise. This show is not only intended for music lovers, but also for pet owners and animal enthusiasts. Available at the show will be an adoption binder, featuring all the rescue’s adoptable critters, as well as merchandise not available through the website, like the new t-shirt designs, posters, pins, magnets, and more.
