This dog has been on the run for over 10 days (including the coldest day of the year so far!). He is a young Golden Retriever from Verdun but has made his way to Nun’s Island. He has been sighted numerous times -and is quite thin by now – but is too frightened to let himself be approached. His owner (and some amazing dog-lovers) have been out every single day trying to get him back. Food is being left for him – and a catch and release trap has been set. At this point, they are hoping a tranquilizer dart may help – since he is too afraid to get close.
