National Dog Bite Prevention Week – Download your own Dog Language Cards!

It is that time of the year again! During the second week of April, the United States, celebrates National Dog Bite Prevention Week. Although Canada does not recognize this important week,  Montreal Dog Blog believes that we must take the time to educate people and help understand our canine friends. 

  Our friends at Humanimo, a local non for profit organization,  shared with us this beautiful guide that focuses on educating people about preventing dog bites.The guide includes the following: help

  • 18 observations to be able to identify a calm dog, fearful or angry
  • 8 basic tips to know for your child’s safety and respect for your dog
  • 5 fun and positive interaction ideas between your child and your dog

The mission of Humanimo is  to reduce animal abandonment by providing products that provide humans a reference to stimulating activities for pets to meet their natural needs and help create a friendly bond with your companion animal.
