PetitsPawz Cat Refuge of Montreal is hosting The 2nd Annual Alley Cat’s Rally Bowl-a-thon on April 14th, 2013!
For the second year in a row, PetitsPawz will be hosting The Alley Cat’s Rally Bowl-a-thon! To participate, players are asked to raise a minimum of $100 in sponsorship pledges before the event date (April 14th, 2013). You can join alone, or grab a bunch of your friends and create a team- the choice yours! The event itself will be hosted by Sharman Yarnell, CJAD’s popular radio host who can be heard on Sundays at 4 pm for Show Time. Yarnell is a major supporter of PetitsPawz’ efforts and an advocate for animals – domestic and wild. We are thrilled to have her with us again this year! And did we mention the prizes? A ton of prizes are going to be handed out at the awards ceremony, along with a few extra twists here and there. The Bowl-a-thon will take place at Quilles G Plus, located at 6510 St Jacques in Montreal.
Managed by volunteers with the main goal to protect and promote the care of all cats, the Refuge serves the island of Montreal. To date, PetitsPawz has helped over 400 abandoned, abused and homeless cats either through the TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) or adoption programs. We specialize in emergency rescue and special needs such as Sammy‘s story. No animal should be left behind or forgotten, no matter what. Small and large, they need our help.
Last year’s Bowlathon was a huge success, raising $4500 for the cats. This year, our goal is to raise $8000! In order to reach our goal, we need lots of PLAYERS!!
TO PARTICIPATE IN THE BOWL-A-THON, simply go to www.petitspawzbowlathon2013.com and go to the ‘Be a Participant’ section. Once your information is complete, simply hit the send button and you are done!
You will receive a your welcome email and your sponsor sheet following your registration. The sponsor sheet is to be used to keep tally of your donations. Each player will also have access to their own personal fundraising page online.
Every donation counts! Now its time to roll up your sleeves and start collecting pledges! Sponsors that make an in person donation of ten dollars and higher will receive a tax receipt from PetitsPawz. Online donors will receive a tax receipt by email. Every player must collect a minimum of $100 in sponsor pledges (donations) individually in order to play on the day of the Bowl-a-thon.
Let’s face it, not everyone likes to bowl! If you don’t want to bowl but would like to sponsor someone or support the event, it’s easy! There is no minimum sponsor amount. No amount is too small! You can either pay directly to the person you wish to sponsor or ONLINE.
