David’s Tea Presents: Paws 4 A Cause

In Support of the Montreal SPCA E-Shelter (The Annex)

The role of the SPCA is to prevent cruelty and ensure the well being of animals, and to foster compassion for all living creatures. Among it’s numerous undertakings, the SPCA operates an Emergency Shelter, newly known as “The Annex”, a unique facility a block from the SPCA, which helps save large groups of animals that are rescued from one-off rescue missions (either a puppy mill or hoarding situation) as well as helping to place animals with special medical, physical or behavioral needs.  As its mission, this facility rescues, rehabilitates, and then finds loving homes for these animals. To date, over 1300 special needs hard to place animals have been rescued thanks to the E-Shelter.

The goal of “Paws 4 A Cause” is to raise money and spread much needed awareness about the SPCA E-Shelter so that the SPCA can continue to serve society’s most disadvantaged animals.

Presented by David’s Tea, Paws 4 A Cause will take place on Friday, May 18th, 8:30 PM at Wave in Complexe Dompark (5524 St. Patrick).  Tickets are $75 and include an open bar and food. Special guest DJ’s: PG13 and Shaydakiss. There will be lots of fantastic raffle prizes and treats from Veganessa, Yo Dough, Ben and Jerry’s, Sparkles Confections, and more. Sponsors include: Luxe Rentals, Hype, Brahm Mauer Bar Services, Moosehead.
