You may recall the situation PetitsPawz is dealing with, with regard to a cat hoarding situation in Lasalle. The woman had been working with this rescue toward finding placement for the cats. Now, she has decided they must all be out of her home by this Friday. The remaining cats will be euthanized. As is the saddest reality with rescue – there is simply no room for them. There is one cat, however that PetitsPawz refuses to let the City of Lasalle take. The following is from the rescue:
There is, however, 1 special kitty that I won’t let them take. She has been so traumatized that she pulls the hair out of her tail and has no fur remaining. She gave birth to kittens, that the other cats ate. The adult cats were hungry and began nursing on her. Another 2 cats at the hoarders gave birth but were unable to nurse them. This special little kitty began to nurse them, with her remaining milk. She is currently in the bathroom of the hoarders. I need to get her and the kittens out of there by Friday, latest.
